Style in 3 words: Approachable, unexpected, cultured.

Who: Although the medical homeowner is a Charlotte native, it wasn’t until interior designer  Marie Cloud created a space for the family to retreat through trying pandemic times that the family finally felt at home.

The house: This 2,849-square-foot house in Beverly Crest has four beds and 2.5 baths packed with a stylish personality that can stand alone just as much as the rooms work together to support the overall soulful character of the house.

Design: Drama is the key ingredient that puts this house over the top. This can be seen in the dining room where a geometric caned dining table is accessorized with stunning scalloped chairs, a large beaded chandelier and cool wallpaper.

Inspiration: The family wanted timeless interior design so their home could grow and they can enjoy it for the years to come.

Best rooms: While the kitchen and playroom are two shining rooms, this house wouldn’t be complete without the bedroom design.

The lavender couch and greenery from the plant is the right calming color with the chic black and white design seen in the rug, wall art, and black contrast ceiling.

The two scalloped end chairs at the table add to the royal look. The beaded chandelier and geometric ceiling design pulls the entire dinning room together.

The burgundy covered room with a slightly matte finish allows you to decompress upon entering the room. The neutral headboard and decor add an alleviating balance.

A sleek separated double vanity opens the room up.

The chandelier and bed frame allow this room to grow with the child as they are both timeless pieces.

The bookshelf and couch space can also evolve with the room as the child matures.

The sliding frosted bathroom door and modernized marbled fireplace turn this room into a contemporary chic master bedroom.

The floor to ceiling headboard was something I didn’t know I needed in my next house that makes this a grand master bedroom.
